We are still bringing on more staff.  If you are interested in workshops, let us know your instrument and ability level.  We will try to obtain a teacher.  If you have no instrument, see our Musical Talent - Quality Instrument Clearinghouse.

Pipers - We love the pipes.  You are not included here because the Northeast PipersTionol will be held at Gavin's in East Durham on the last weekend of October.  Go to www.eastcoastpipers.com for info.

How do you decide what class level to take?

Advanced - You have been playing Irish music for five years or more.  You regularly attend sessions.  You may be a semi-professional musician.  You may be a session leader in your locality.  You are comfortable playing over 100 tunes.

Intermediate - You have been playing Irish music for two to five years.  You have taken lessons or had a mentor; perhaps you have participated in basic workshops.  You have attended sessions occasionally.  You are comfortable playing about 50 tunes.

Basic - You have been playing Irish music less than two years.  You are largely self taught and know a few tunes.

Irish beginner - You know your instrument well, but have never played Irish music.

Novice - You have been playing your instrument less than two years and have never played Irish music.

Absolute novice - You just got your instrument, or don't even have an instrument yet.  You just know you want to be able to play this music.  We will have loaner instruments available.  You must register in advance, so we can be sure to have an instrument for you.

There are a few time slots for private lessons.  These will go to the highest bidder.  Bidding starts at $50.00 per 45 minute lesson.
